Biography

The Groove Movement (or TGM for short) is a collective of London’s finest session and West End musicians who have come together to deliver an exciting, energetic and soulful yet seriously stylish outfit that will enhance any occasion. When they are not playing with TGM, you can find band members:

– Performing with the likes of Elton John, Robbie Williams, Olly Murs, Mark Ronson, Boy George, Lily Allen, James Morrison, Alexandra Burke, The Wanted, Gloria Gaynor, Rick Astley, Pixie Lott, Nicole Scherzinger, Diana Vickers, Beverly Knight, Toyah Wilcox, Peter Andre, Susan Boyle and Donny Osmond to name but a few!

– Playing on the majority of current West End shows including: Motown: The Musical, Wicked, The Lion King, The Book of Mormon, Jersey Boys, Beautiful, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Mamma Mia.

– Making regular appearances at venues including The Royal Albert Hall, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, The O2, Wembley Arena and many more.

Delivering a tailored mix of music, from fresh chart toppers to dance floor fillers, The Beatles to Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire to Bruno Mars, ABBA to Amy Winehouse, TGM cater for any occasion (weddings, corporate events, office parties and award shows etc), delivering a show that doesn’t stop and will keep your guests on the dance floor from start to finish (although TGM regrettably cannot take responsibility for any sore feet at the end of the night).

Although TGM are based in London, they don’t just stay inside the M25. They seem to perform best when in warm climates and close proximity to a beach, so please feel free to bear this in mind when planning the location for your event.

TGM guarantee to deliver world-class entertainment and will bend over backwards to cater to all of your musical needs.
